GlobalInMind, in collaboration with the Voices of Children foundation, has launched a groundbreaking initiative to develop and implement the RTM-C Protocol (Child Version)—a specialized treatment designed to support children affected by PTSD.
Led by Viktoriia Gorbunova, the project manager and principal investigator, the initiative will unfold in three key phases:
1️⃣ Development & Pilot Study (May–October 2025) – Creating a child-friendly version of the RTM Protocol, including animated instructions and a cinema theatre model to help children visualize the process.
2️⃣ Training & Implementation (Nov 2025–June 2026) – Training Voices of Children professionals to apply the protocol and conducting an implementation study.
3️⃣ National Rollout (July 2026–July 2028) – Expanding the program to school psychologists across Ukraine, ensuring widespread access to trauma-informed care.
The project aims to provide accessible, engaging, and effective PTSD treatment for children aged 6 to 12, helping them process trauma in a safe and structured way.
Stay tuned for updates as GlobalInMind and Voices of Children work together to transform mental health care for young survivors.
