This project aimed to develop and implement a comprehensive training programme for primary healthcare workers in Zhytomyr Oblast, focusing on reducing stigma towards people affected by tuberculosis (TB). The initiative was carried out in close collaboration with Médecins Sans Frontières - Belgium.
The first phase involved the development of the training curriculum, which included key thematic areas, a proposed number of training sessions, relevant tools and materials, a detailed schedule.
Following this, nine training sessions for healthcare workers were organised and delivered in accordance with the agreed timeline.
In order to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the training, pre- and post-training questionnaires were administered to all participants. The completed questionnaires were collected and submitted to the project coordinator for analysis.
